While said station is wonderful too, 900 Gold is magnificent; I can't get enough of the oldies and, as I am listening right now to the Gospel segment (Mighty Clouds of Joy)....it just doesn't get it any better that anywhere else. Thank you all for impeccible taste in good music. I am a listener for life!!! P.S. We didn't have music this good in New York, and to me that's really saying something.

Erskine Faush each morning it was a morning ritual initiated by my mother and father soon the music just became a part of my life. While I enjoy listening to your station and will call occasionally it appears that WATV is where the majority of the callers can call and say just about anything without being challenged (ie neckbone, shelly, buck, bean counter, etc) by Mr. January. While each host has there own style, to let most of this foolishness go unchallenged just adds to the misinformation that's already spread throughout our communities. That's just my opinion.

Posted by Jim Roberts Posted On: 11/16/2006 I have listened to many different stations in many different markets in my life and this one is by far the best integrated in terms of overall music choices - mixing a touch of jazz and blues with the best old school R & B and the gospel segments is the greatest! The personalities are tops! The talk show host is one of the best I've ever heard. The gospel announcer is annointed and is definitely on top of gospel music. The Diva and Mike are both very personable and easy to listen to. Two thumbs up to 900 GOLD WATV, all urban FM's can take a lesson from this little station that can! Keep up the great work and happy holidays!

Since I've moved to Tuscaloosa I can't seem to find WATV unless I'am in a certain area of Tuscaloosa. In the future will WATV's signal reach Tuscaloosa? Also, where is Pat Williams? Pat is still around the Birmingham area and doing fine.
